Freemake Music Box

If you have some music files on your PC, you can load them into Freemake Music Box and play them. You can create a playlist of all the audio files you have and then just sit back and listen to them.
If you don’t have any music files on your PC, you can use Freemake Music Box to search for music online, stream the tracks you want, add the tracks you want to your playlist.

The Freemake Music Box setup wizard will ask you to pick between a Full Installation and a Custom Installation. The latter allows you to opt out of creating a desktop shortcut and allows you to opt out of setting Freemake Music Box as your default audio player. And since we’re talking about opting out, it must be mentioned that the setup wizard will want to install some extra software on your PC - but you can opt out and install Freemake Music Box and Freemake Music Box alone.

The playback controls are displayed in the upper left hand corner of the application’s interface.
The music you load into the application, the music on your playlist, is also displayed on the left hand side, underneath the playback controls. Search for an artist, band or track and the search results will be presented in the main panel to the right.

From a functionality point of view, you can expect to get the following from Freemake Music Box: multiple audio formats are supported (MP3, WMA, FLAC, and more); load locally stored music files and play them; manage a playlist; search for music online and stream music; easily add music from the list of search results to the playlist; watch music videos on the application’s interface; create multiple playlists; import existing playlists.
